Dare to Be Different: Dr. Jeff Klosterman

Meet Dr. Klosterman

With an interest in orthoK as a lifestyle and sports performance alternative, he attended his first Vision By Design and SuperCharge Your Practice meetings in 2013 and again in 2015.
Within a year he successfully launched an orthoK specialty in a rural, middle-class region of Kentucky. By 2015, he had carved out enough specialty clientele that he launched MEYEND Performance (pronounced “mind”), a concierge service company that provides sensory and cognitive baseline and training to collegiate and professional athletes, coaches, and entire athletic departments and pro team organizations.
As a related off-shoot, in 2017 Jeff was recruited to join Senaptec, a biotechnology company based out of Beaverton, Oregon, for whom he serves as Director of Business Development and Sales. He maintains one clinic per day for orthokeratology and human performance examinations through Meyend Vision, a division of his umbrella performance and consulting company. He also volunteers his time as a KOL for multiple companies in the biotechnology and contact lens space.
At home, Jeff is married to his wife Lesley of 17 years, and has a daughter Reece and a son Grant, both who are in middle school. They can be found running the kids to soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, and band events, or in a gym where Jeff coaches basketball and Lesley coaches volleyball. .
